but off shore we're seing a little disturbed area, kept abay for our central maryland area thanks to high pressure but along the lower area and parts of the eastern shore, a few more clouds. but pretty comfortable temperaturewise all across the state. it looks like we're at 79 downtown now. low 70's in western maryland. mid to upper 70's on the eastern shore. over in the mountains of western maryland, nice refreshing air, 79s the forecast high and the heart of central maryland 87 our forecast high. 85 is our benchmark for our august 15. that's what's normal. with a mix of sun and clouds. as we head over to the lower eastern shore around ocean city, a few more clouds around but no real significant chance of storms. surf temperature is 78. looks like on the bay no problems. great day for boating. on the waters of the chesapeake, waves unimpressive at a foot or less. and water temperatures in the 80's. 103 record high set back in 1988 and a nice re freshing low of 49 degrees set on this date back in 1964. 64 is our average low for the overnight and 644 to 68 the temperature range. mostl
