let's go straight to chad pergun on capitol hill. chad the president wasn't leaving on this trip for another week and a half, so is this a gain that shutdown is going to last at least that much longer? >> well no one here thinks this is going to end any time soon. this is why the house of representatives continues to move through individual appropriations bills here in the past 30 minutes, they've knocked out two of the remaining seven appropriations bills in an effort to try to reopen the government. the first bill dealt with the department of agriculture that passed 243-183, there were 10 republicans who broke ranks, and voted with the democrats and they also approved what we call here on capitol hill transportation housing and urban development, that passed 244-188 there were 12 republicans who broke ranks there and voted with the democrats and vice president pence came to the capitol today and talked with some of us yours truly included while the president was in texas, and vice president pence was very clear on two points. numbe
