[speaker not understood]. the airport is here seeking your retroactive approval for four leases with cingular, sprint-nextel, verizon and t-mobile to continue to provide cellular services to our passengers at cfo. at this time we're also requesting approval for modification to extend three of the four leases for an additional five years. * sfo the current leases with the cellular providers were approved by the airport commission in 2009 for an original term of five years. staff inadvertently neglected to bring the leases to the board at that time. it was determined that the nature of the cellular service leases did not lend itself to selecting one provider through an exclusive lease. therefore any cellular license service provider were invite today provide service at the airport as long as it was determined they met all of the city and county of san francisco contract requirements. and i believe that it was this unusual process that may have led to some confusion over whether or not b

two outstanding and i think bay view is opening shortly, so again chair chu in terms of overall lessons learned better scoping to the beginning is absolutely essential. we feel having memorandums of understanding between the departments have helped tremendously. making sure we have opted myselfed community engagement. weez have a very engaged community in our city and to optimize it will help i think to keep the bonds on scope, on time and budget and carefully bidding qualifications are necessary to make sure that we get what we voted for. another service that we provide is overseeing the service auditors. we are the auditors of the city service auditors, and what we did this year was expand benchmark efforts, and this is actually what we recommend being done in the future sort of -- we have a group working with the auditor and expand them by incorporating efficiency measures into the report. we can also make reports better and more easy to understand and this is one way to do it, so that we can see the other times how this is doing. implementing vetting processes for using the data to

chu. >> thank you, mr. chair i want though make a couple of comments. first of all, i share the redundancy of colleagues when we were first discussing the school supplementals. i had a really hesitation but let me point out a few things we did set aside money. this is part of our budget process and when i decided to support the school supplemental we also know there are other supplementals coming down the line especially in the health care area. when it comes to health and i think in this stance i am concerned about the domestic violence. i think did matter it as i and i lutd to before the caseload from the prosecutors office we have a spike of domestic violence in the last few years. we have to make sure that your conviction rate stays high and they're not where they need to be. i think the district attorney's office needs to be where it was and the budget committee obviously made adjustments. i know we're going to have a discussion about what supervisor cohen supported and i'm also supporting. the line share of the money went to the district attorney'
