charley, back to you. >>> congress has finally worked out a deal. they've agreed to extend the payroll tax cuts for two additional months. abc 2 news' linda stow is here now with what that could mean for you in the vote expected today. linda. reporter: charley, in just a few hours the house and senate are expected to approve the bill by unanimous consent. it's a procedural measure so lawmakers won't actually have to return to washington on their holiday break. the deal essentially means you won't see a tax hike come january 1st. it came down to the wire with house republicans finally caving and agreeing to a short- term two-month extension of that parole tax cut. as part of the deal, the senate will appoint members to negotiate with the house on a one-year extension. that's what house republicans have been pushing for all along. the deal basically means you won't be losing $40 from your paycheck every two weeks. >> we all have bills to pay. we try to make it paycheck to paycheck the way it is. reporter: the president is urging congress to work out a

now let's look at the news with charley. >>> 5:31. florida a&m band director julian white was fired following a suspected hazing death of robert champion. sherrie johnson has more on the developing story. >> reporter: well, charley, he held a press conference sharing how he always has taken a stand against hazing and says he did all he could to get rid of the practice within the marching 100 band. white called on the university community to work together to restore the school's reputation. this comes after the death of 26-year-old robert champion who was the band's drum major e died last month and police -- he died last month and police say hazing was involved. the former band director says hazing was a problem he couldn't control e says he asked for help for stuffer punishment. four stewed cents dismissed after the fallout from champion's death. another 30 kicked out of the band. >> i am deeply concerned that these things are happening to the university that our reputation is tarnished. my reputation is tarnished and we are going to

charley, good morning. >>> good morning. and latest in the case of two doctors charged with murder for performing botched aborptions. it -- abortions. it dates back to 2010. linda so is standing by with more on the investigation. >> reporter: we got our hands on the charging documents outlining how they performed aborings on women as far as 35 weeks along in their pregnancy. dr. stephen bringham and nicolea riley are charged with murder because of what police are calling botched abortions. george shep hard has been implicate and his license has been suspended acording to the documents, the late term abortions were performed in elkton cecil county called american women service on east high street. when police search the place last august they found a chest in the freezer containing 35 late term fetuses. they found logs of other late term abortions involving babies 20 weeks, 28, 33 and 35 weeks along. dr. bringham has never been licensed to practice medicine in maryland but ran the facilities called american women services and
