lets go to 10th and concord in the city of chester and sara bloomquist. >> reporter: jim, tonight chester detectives are interviewing witnesses trying to figure out exactly what happened and who pulled the trigger we know that 16-year-old was shot in this alley and several other people were around at the time. the sound of gun fire in this neighborhood prompted chester high school and another nearby school to go under lockdown. following the shooting investigators looked for clues in the area of concord avenue and butler street in chester, a 16-year-old student at chester high left school early and went to an alley here and got into an argument with a group that convened behind the row homes and ended up with a gunshot wound to the back of the thigh. >> one of our officers heard the shot. >> chester high school and a nearby stem school was placed on lockdown as a precaution. >> that is part of our alert system we don't take chances, it's a time where we make sure if we do have someone injured we done want more. >> we were given information up in the chester high school recreation field tw

nicole brewer joins us now at the chester police station. nicole? >> and erika ukee, the youngest victim in this shooting just 14 years old and the man who died, 21 years old. let's go ahead roll video of the scene. police say the victim, all males, standing on the sidewalk at third animal america streets around 11:00 p.m. thursday night, when two gunmen approached and began firing. two juveniles were struck along with 47 year old man that 21 year old was hit multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. sadly, marking the city's seventh homicide this year. now, we speak to his cousin, who said this is the second son his mother has had to bury within the last year. so, a very sad night of senseless violence here, in the city of chester. in the meantime, county detectives are assisting chester police in this investigation. anyone with any information is urged to call police. so that's the very lateness chester outside the police department here. we send it back to you in the studio. >> nicole, thank you. firefighters say a candle

it developed in chester county. it's still in chester county right over 76. and there's a lot of lightning and heavy rain, and the winds could be near 60 miles an hour. seeing the heavy rain all the way up to east whiteland. seeing that too, across 376. and this is where the most lightning is. right around east whiteland township. so we're watching this storm mainly move to the northeast around 35 miles an hour. so the severe thunderstorm warning with this storm has been extended across montgomery and central bucks county as well. so rattner by about 5:19 expect the strongest part of the storm. 34 upper dublin 5:38 and war minister about 5:50. this storm, potentially damaging winds around 60 miles an hour. that will continue moving across the area. as for upper bucks county right now, we're still seeing pretty steady rainfall, especially across 476 there. and up in the poconos, a good amount of rain there, too. we've been seeing that all afternoon, as well. aside from that we have a couple of showers flaring up around wilmington but also in parts of new jerse

for much of chester county. coatesville, west chester, and, like i said, most of the county.t's all related to this main line of storms moving through the area. overall, there are some places where it's stronger than others. with strong coming through allentown and now the other strong spot is down in chester county. there's the cell in allentown moving to the east. it's why downtown allentown, the visibility was getting better the storm headed into bethlehem and easton. this storm south of coatesville, this one is really strong. and this one will be moving into at 5:54 west goshen around 5:00. and this one has heavy rain with it. and the rainfall rate approaching 3 1/2 inches per hour. that means if it stayed on the same spot for an hour you get 3 1/2 inches of rain. that's a lot of rain. now, towards philadelphia these are smaller cells, but kind of intense here. the area in red, north of shelton sheltonham, abington moving toward the northeast. the future hour by hour, out of the computer showing that line coming through. right around 6:00 to 7:00 tonight. and then some ar
