we're getting more detail but chp is scrambling to take care of the issue. the only other issue is in san francisco and that's for scheduled overnight paving. they're working on veterans boulevard near the tunnels. thank goodness it's cool for now, i guess. >> that 101 issue is going to really back things up. we're going to have a warmer day. let's head over to walnut creek where we start out with some mid-50s this morning and then we see it go from 55 degrees to the low 70s. it looks like a very nice morning for getting out and getting some of those outdoor errands already done for today and then as we check out our forecast we are going to have in some spots near record high temperatures. i think by friday we could possibly set some records. as we look at what's average for this time of year, a normal high is about 72 degrees. heading up to 85 today. in concord we're supposed to be at 74 but looking at high temperatures up to 82. we are normally seeing high temperatures at this time in may in the low 70s. you can see how that compares today as napa reaches
