the chp says a pickup truck went off the road and into a pond in the area of nevada. this all started right after 6:30 pm. both the driver and fema passenger made it out of that truck. they were holding onto the bed. then, a dog managed to get free from that wreck. he went under and never resurfaced.>> we are still investigating right now. we were told they were actually pulling out of this parking area directly behind me prior to the vehicle possibly losing control.>> the passenger of the vehicle was taken to the hospital. chp says the dive team and other agencies were searching for the driver.>>> we just learned that a missing girl has been found. she is safe and in the custody of the fbi. the 15-year-old left her home last week. we told you her story on tuesday. her phone had gone dark. we have now learned she was recovered by the fbi today and is safe. nowhere jet on where she was or if anyone has been arrested. we are told police had asked for the fbi help. she is expected to be reunited with her family tomorrow. >>> working from home could change the landscape o

chp saying a car chase suspect, get this, dumped nearly $1 million out the window. officers say this happened when they tried to pull over the car in merced. the driver did not stop taking off. chp says the driver dumped the money all at once in boxes altogether so they managed to retrieve all of it. that person eventually surrendered. officers arrested two other drivers and say all were involved in a marijuana deal. >>> well, take a look at this. you see the weaving car there? authorities say a 5-year-old utah boy is now in hot water -- 5 years old -- he got in the suv to drive to california. officers saw the car going 30 miles an hour and moving erratically. they say they found the 5-year-old struggling to see out of the front window, and he told them he was headed to california to buy a lamborghini. both parents were at work and a sibling was supposed to be watching the boy. 5 years old! >> i'm just surprised he could actually drive the car. >>> after the kensington health care center in bakersfield seeing big cases of coronavirus, at least 40 people have been in

last night chp officers in san jose took over the chase for that motorcycle on interstate 280 around11:15 p.m. last night. redwood city chp officers first tried to pull the suspect over for speeding and found out the motorcycle was stolen. the motorcycle crashed on 680 at the sheraton offramp and then a motorcycle rider was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. in san francisco a group of neighbors and business owners are going to court and they want to block san francisco's plan to set up a sanctioned homeless encampment. it's called concerned hit a sense of the hate and suing over a safe sleeping sites. the city plans to allow 40 tends to be set up and it used to be the location of an old mcdonald's restaurant. the group worries about the risk of spreading the coronavirus, as well as crime and drug use. >>> the san ramon valley school district is facing scrutiny from parents over pay raises. now all employees working at the district offices just received a 2.5% annual cost-of- living raise and it is something the district has done every year for 20 years. however, some
