it's not okay. >> i want to bring in chris christie, ask what i asked liz cheney. leaning in that president trump was criminally negligent. >> it seemed that way to me too. listening to what she had to say. look, i had a rule when i was a u.s. attorney when you were dealing with a high-profile potential defendant. it better be a head shot. it better be a head shot. you better be able to take the person out without any -- forget beyond a reasonable doubt, and the fact is that what justice department officials are going to have to decide here ultimately is do they have that? they better make sure they do because it will be an enormously politicized trial if they do or not, and you have to have the american people have confidence in the american judicial system. we've seen it happening now. we've seen some of these police trials that have been going on, and the american people are again, having their confidence restored in the judicial system in this country and that's going to take time. we don't need to do something that undermines that. let's look at what the facts

chris christie was at my inauguration. it is a blue state but it has a strong heritage on the republican side. think of governor tom kane, christie todd whitman, chris christie, new jersey, like massachusetts, where i was from originally, if charlie is here, a similar state, pretty blue, but with a tradition of frequently electing republican governors and charlie is a good example of that. so we try our best to work across the aisle. sometimes it works. sometimes it does not. i think asa said this earlier on meet the press. let's be clear about the fact that we will not always agree and we will get down and get at it. that does not mean you cannot find common ground on a good list of stuff. david: when you are in high school did you say to the governor of massachusetts, you get elected as a republican and i will get elected as a democrat and we will see if we can work together? governor murphy: i don't believe in high school and knew i would end up in new jersey. david: governor hutchinson, right now it is said that money
