police say takiara lewis-white was at the wheel in september with three kids in the car when state police tried to pull her over on 2-64. investigative reporter chris horne is live in portsmouth with more on what's next for lewis-white. the charges against lewis-white were nolle prossed - that means they were withdrawn at least for the time being. this portsmouth case is now in the hands of the suffolk commonwealth's attorney phil ferguson. ferguson was appointed special prosecutor, because one of the prosecutors in portsmouth had prior involvement in the case before he was hired. lewis-white had faced charges of second degree murder, felony child neglect and several traffic violations following the deadly september crash. a state trooper gave preliminary hearing about 8- year-old destiny wilson, and 5-year-old shawnta wilson. lewis-white was watching for a friend. they were in the back seat - without seatbelts - when lewis-white was speeding and went off the road at the greenwood drive exit. her suv flipped and ended up near some trees. the two wilson girls were dead at the scene. lewis-white's own son was in a car seat and he survived the crash.
