. >> christa: i'm christa delcamp. good news on the track of hurricane joaquin. the storm still a strong category 4 but it appears it will not be a direct hit for anyone in the u.s. bree -- >> chris: it's nasty across southern new england. we don't have as much heavy rain gear. into the city will have wet roads, 23, 95. north of town out of new hampshire, on and off intermittent sprinkles, pockets of drizzle and mist but most of the steady rain is mass pike south. that's the theme for the day. we hold on to the steadiest rain across southeast mass. metro boston in and out of the rain through the day. the amount of rainfall on the way, most towns a half inch of rain or less. as we look south of town, we're talking about rainfall amounts a little bit more on the order of about an inch to an inch and a half of rain. the wind will be a concern right now out of the northeast 30 miles an hour. that will set up pockets of minor coastal flooding at the afternoon high tide. that is all because of stationary front and high pressure system. cold and raw with light rain. tem

also now that school is back in session, christa delcamp is bringing back our class act segment. if you know a student doing something outstanding in school or for the community, nominate them on-line at aeng we are learning new details about lamar odom's stay at a brothel. the former n.b.a. star arrived saturday. odom remains in a coma after he was found unresponsive in a v.i.p. villa earlier this week. today the brothel's general manager once again, talking about odom's visit. t.j. moore was one of the people who tried to save the star. moore says odom told her he wanted to have some fun. and she rushed to try to help the former l.a. laker after on tuesday. >> he was on his back. he had foam coming out of his mouth. and a little blood. coming out of his nose. i got him rolled over on his right side. he did have a bunch of fluids come out of his mouth. >> anchor: odom remains unresponsive at a las vegas hospital. former mayor rudy giuliani helps rescue a man involved in a car crash. giuliani and two coworkers were driving thursday morning on a highway when they heard a big noise
