christie smith is live with more on this story. good morning, christie. >> reporter: good morning to you. you know, when this happens, it's going to be quite a sight. 800 nurses walking the picket line for five days. comes down to a couple things. first of all, contract talks stalled and nurses saying the hospital isn't covering their health care expenses the way they used to. at least that's the proposal. it amounts to about $4,000 and a proposed decrease in employer covered expenses. the hospital proposed to change in their health care plan after the contract with the nurses union expired. that was last may. in october, that prompted a three-day walk out. i spoke with a spokesperson by phone. they are offering three other options, including a hospital paid hmo for the nurses. the hospital is going through what everyone is going through, that's tough economic times. short term, they have hired replacement workers so everything will go on as planned in terms of health care services here. some elective procedures may be delayed. the
