christie smith is live with more on tonight's pomp and circumstance and it looks like it's going on behind you. >> reporter: yeah. we are an hour commencement ceremonies. the weather has cooperated. it's cold but it's not raining for the big moment. the graduating seniors are seated up front telling us it was not easy handling the changes that they have had to deal with. this commencement was originally set for 10:00 this morning. there was concern about the weather at pioneer stadium here at cal state east bay. 750 graduating seniors are expected to take part here . i had a while ago to speak with a few of them. they are excited for the big day. they tell me they were affected by the delay because family and friends made plans to be here a long time ago. >> a little bit. i'm from sacramento. not too far of a drive. some of my family planning to come down at 10:00 couldn't make it. my parents and girlfriend came. >> reporter: that senior is from the concord campus had their commencement canceled yesterday because of concerns about the weather and keeping everyone safe there. those students
