a very technical issue that is difficult to under, this issue is important to the city of san francisco and the transbay terminal project because when we have various agencies looking at the types of transit they're going to purchase that are planning on purchasing different types of trains that will require different boarding platforms, it does mean that there may be a challenge in getting high-speed rail to come all the way to san francisco into the future. basically this is an issue of platform compatibility and one that i've been currently learning about that there are trains some board at 25 inch and some at 50 inch. caltrain and high-speed rail are currently planning to go out for rfp on two different completely different types of trains which mean that they will not be compatible to finally enter into the transbay terminal. this is a long-term regional discussion in san francisco need to take a strong position before any vehicle procurement occurs to ensure that the high-speed rail and caltrain will be able to come into the heart of downtown and i look forward to holding this hearing at the land

affordable housing fee that will be paid for the city's affordable housing program will help oci, meet the affordable housing obligations in the transbay, and initially the staff estimated that up to 55 stand alone, affordable housing units on the public land parcels could be funded on the payment, with the assumption of $250,000 per unit in subsidy, and however, based on the review of the stand alone, affordable projects under way in the project area, currently, the majority which are rental, it could be reduced to $200,000 for a rental project, for example, the sponsor for the transbay block 8 is required to develop a stand alone affordable project that requires no more than $200,000 per unit in ocii subsidy and therefore, if ocii were to use the 13.85 payment, with the transbay block 8, the payment could subsidize over 69 affordable units which is a net increase of 68 units over the 11 that would be generated by the project on site. and at the hearing on the 12th, the commission expressed concerns about whether approving this variation would set a precedent for other housing projects. it is unlikely because the project is so unique,

that generated by the cal transparcel, that are being transferred to the city and tjpa, and sold for redevelopment under the transbay redevelopment plan. and as you know, of course, two of those parcels have already sold and the sales force tower and block six and three are in the negotiation stages, and block five, 8 and 9 and then once we have completed phase one, two additional parcels will be available on parcel f and block four and we have started to receive the increment from those sold parcels and received our first payment from ocii earlier this summer, for parcel t. and the net tax increment is fully committed to tjpa under the various agreement and there are no further approvals and there are authorizations required for the revenue to flow for the project, and the total revenue that we expect to receive and this is a conservative number but over the 45-year life of the pledge is on the order of about 950 million dollars. and however, as we have previously discussed we do need a cash flow, and so it is a revenue for the early part of 2015, before we can draw down on the tifia loan and so we have been negoti
