i think one of the best stories i have ever heard in that regard is justice clarence thomas. the first time i ever met him he was speaking to a small group of us few dozen people and he said that whenever he is traveling or he's in an airport or a public place he's giving a discussion about why it's so important to defend liberty and defend the principles we have been talking about in the principles of liberalism. whenever he's in a public place like an airport someone will come up to him and thank him for his service and thank him for defending liberty and thank him for the work he's been doing and he said his response always is okay what about you? and it sounds like that's the message that you guys are giving here that individuals who win power can make a difference and that's where the changes got to come from and we are not going to get there if we just indulge and whining and complaining about these challenges are pretending that they are intractable or something we are not capable of overcoming. >> it's too important to be left to somebody else. the calgary is not comi

sent a letter today to jeff bezos asking him why they pulled a highly acclaimed documentary of clarence thomasmonth on their streaming service that they were still offering for free. documentaries about left-wing terrorists hear it or just consider what happened today to tim scott. social media companies today allow the left to smear tim scott after his speech last night attacking him for the color of his skin. that went on for hours. how long do you think it would have taken twitter to pull down those posts if it was about say kamala harris or barack obama? >> this is what concerns us, of course. because you've got big tech control in the conversation in the country, making decisions that are racist. this is a curated decision when it came to allowing that to run for 11 hours. this is part of the democrat playbook. its hand-in-hand when it comes to smear income especially minorities who don't conform. but really anyone. josh hawley gets canceled his book from simon and schuster. it tells the american people that you will be punished. but we are seen, of course, i think we have a good history

there are six conservatives; amy coney barrett, brett kavanaugh, neil gorsuch, samuel alito, clarence thomasnd john roberts. there are three liberals, sonia sotomayor, elena kagan and stephen breyer. but nowhere in the constitution does it say how many it should or must have. the first judiciary act set the number at six, but it's good luck candidated from 5 to 10. the last time a president attempted to change it, 1937, when fdr introduced a judicial reform bill that became known as his court-packing plan, seeking to ad more justices -- add more justices. the senate rejected it overwhelmingly. in 1983 then-senator joe biden, a member of the judiciary committee, had this to say about fdr's court-packing plan. >> it was a bonehead idea. it was a terrible, terrible mistake to make. >> reporter: and during the campaign, he opposed it. >> i would not get into court packing. we add three justices, next time we lose control, they add three justices. >> reporter: two of the most liberal justices share that opposition. the late ruth bader ginsburg and stephen breyer, who has been on the bench. since
