(grant) kron 4's charles clifford is live on mount diablo... where snow fell on the summit today. chuck how is it looking there tonight? well, here on mt diablo on monday it was a consistently cold day. in the morning as moisture moved through there was snow falling. especially near the summit which is about 4849 feet. they had heavy flurries up there. the roadways were slick as the snow would melt and then freeze on the roads and parking lots. by mid morning state parks, which operates mt diablo, had closed down the summit and people were being stopped at the juniper campground below the summit.through out the day the rain and snow let up and as we head into the evening hours we are expecting more rain and possibly snow over night and into tuesday morning. if anyone is headed up here keep in mind that you probably wont be able to reach the
