i want to bring back in clint van zandt. clint, one thing that we notice with these school shootings, is they don't typically happen in urban environments. they typically happen in the suburbs. why is that the case? >> well, i think that's one of the things we're trying to understands now. we know guns are available throughout the united states. there are at least 90 guns in the united states for every 100 people, so it's not that someone can't get ahold of guns. we also know that in the last 14 years -- let's take the last 14 years, for example. the first seven of those years, we averaged about six mass shootings a year. we've now -- we're now averaging in the last seven years, 16 mass shootings. so, this is coming more and more prevalent. there is more people, either as jim cavanaugh and your other guest suggests, that we're either acting out in the workplace, or as i told you earlier, the number of school shootings are increased. we've had 90 shootings almost since sandy hook. so, this is -- someone called it an epidemic.
