with me is former fbi agent clint watts. a senior fellow at the foreign policy research institute and author of "messing with the enemy." clint, i know you have had an eye on these militia groups and how they're organizing online. can you tell us who they are and what the goal is and how we distinguish them from the protesers who might be out at night in some of these cities? >> katy, it's a rather remarkable thing which happened, which is you have seen very different variants of militia groups, far right groups, or groups that want to mobilize because they're angry about the protests start to assemble and call online to show up. we see footage of the portland, you know, rally that essentially went on, which drew all sorts of counterprotesters. but there are also extreme elements in this. we have seen the boog alou boys who are violent individuals who want to accelerate a revolution or a civil war. we see others who say they are vigilante groups that are there to protect property or to protect certain individuals. but they ha
