sheriff's department shows an air tanker dropping retardant on a hillside along highway 101 between cloverdaleand hopland. mandatory evacuations have been ordered. ( darya ) smoke from the fires in mendocino county is starting to affect those here in the bay area. a smoke advisory has been issued in solano county. and people are also starting to feel the affects of the smoke in the east bay... kron 4's lydia pantazes joins us live from concord now.. lydia?
