breaking news out of hawaii where the coast guard is searching for two marine helicopters that reportedly crashed off oahu. this information is coming from our affilate station in honolulu. the coast guard says crews spotted a debris field about two-and-a-half miles off-shore. the aircraft were from the marine corps air station kaneohe bay. both had 6 people on board. we'll keep monitoring this and bring you any ultralight plane crash in middlesex county. state police told us the name of the pilot. they say he is gilbert dennis gergory and he lived in the town of glenns, in gloucester county. right now state bomb squad and arson investivators are trying to figure out what caused the crash. it happened around 2:00 yesterday afternoon about a mile from wake road in the small town of topping. a witness called 9-1-1. investigators sent us this picture of the scene which is in a thick area of woods. the virginia forestry department had to use a bulldozer to get to the plane. state police say they were checking a device on board, used to deploy parachutes. we'll let you know if investigators get any new information. new this morning, police in newport news arreste
