"nbc 10's" monique braxton is live at the scene. monique, what have you learned? >> reporter: hey, rosemary. the american red cross is on the way to help those folks find a place to stay. we spoke with fire chief richie a few moments ago. as we look at the scene, this he have been here at the beachwood apartments for about two hours now. chief richie says one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. two people fled. one firefighter here at the scene.
