we'll check that part of contra costa county as well. back to you. >> thanks, mike. >>> a child in san mateo county is recovering after being attacked by a mountain lion. it happened just before 7:00 p.m. yesterday along tunitas creek road. california fish and wildlife have taken over the search for the mountain lion. >> the san mateo sheriff's office said the boy was punctured several times all over his body and thankfully he will be okay. officials say the boy was walking on the trail with his family and was walking a little ahead of them at the time of the attack. our crews went to the scene where fish and wildlife were on tunitas creek road. this is video of the department truck leaving that area around 9:00, the area where the attack happened. the area is a single lane that has a lot of winding roads near a number of homes. san mateo county sheriff said, quote, our coasting community has endured so much these past few weeks. our entire agency is saddened by the news and sends warm wishes to the child for a speedy and full recovery.
