reporter: choice words from a familily member after residents and two row homes at the corner of east coulter and lena streets had to make a mad dash to escape monday morning when a suspected fire bomb went off. >> the fact that someone leaves a device at the front door of someone' home that doesn't happen every day. so there is some type of issue going on. >> somebody tried to fire bomb the front door. the front door was actually on fire. >> reporter: her sister and seven other family members were forced out of their beds just after 3:30 monday morning when two devices were reportedly found at the house. >> it's really scary. because you never know, you know, what might happen. what could have happened. what did happen. >> it's something that's very dangerous and serious. >> reporter: fire department arrived and found family members had escaped out a rear entrance to the street. the fires were immediately extinguished and fire investigators took over. >> any motive or anything like that at this point? >> don't know offhand but i do know investigators are going to look at every aspect of it.
