we're in hillsborough county where the outcome county and in lakeland. we begin with ryan. good morning. it looks like folks are startint ready to vote. >> good morning. from precinct 947 here in riverview. i'll step out of the way and show you a live look at the line that's already forming just after 6:30 here. at last count there was roughly a dozen people but it looked like more have arrived here at this precinct it riverview. it's been said that hillsborough county is one of it's picked the president in almost every election since 1960. let's go back 2 elections to see how things turned out in 2012 hillsborough county went blue, president obama won by more than 36,000 votes pouncing on mitt romney, 4 years before that, of course, obama prevailed over senator john mccain. that margin of victory was much smaller as you see on the right side of your screen. because it has been so close, every vote certainly counts thiar . >> the entire election in 2000 was settled by 547 votes here in florida decided who was the president of the united states for the next 8 years. >> and t

i just saw mecklenburg county, north carolina. what are you doing in mecklenburg county? >> they're updating their votes every five or six seconds. let's take you through the math in carolina quick. what she's down right now is about 85, 87,000 votes in north carolina right now. where could hillary clinton make this up if she's going to win the state? there's three places you can look. one of them is mecklenburg. in 2012 the total number of votes cast out of mecklenburg county was 445,000. you add these together and you're a little more than 100,000 short of that. so she could gain if this pattern holds with 30,000 votes or so out of mecklenburg county. where else does she look? if you look in wake county, the sort of big votes that are up there, looks like the vote is in. the good news for her, if you go next door, durham county, 145,000 votes were cast here four years ago. you can see a lot of votes still to come in and a huge clinton margin here, so there's an opportunity for her to pick up votes there. and also one more place you would look, let me make sure i get it.

waukesha county authorities lost him at highway 83 and county q. as he circled back around, again, they were still sitting there where they lost him. they put the spike strips out. he went around them down into the ditch. the state patrol has been following him from that point, broadsided before highway 60, east on highway 60 and continue down to a side street that dead ended on the west side of pike lake, and he is now working his way through the neighborhood. i don't see the state patrol, but he is now on highway 60 east now he looks like he is obeying the law, trying to go unnoticed as he makes his way back onto highway 60 eastbound. we will continue to monitor this. i'm not sure where that state patrol officer went off, but they are eastbound again on 60 a little bit after where they had he is still along the north bank of pike lake. he is continuing eastbound on highway 60. this is franklin drive that he is coming up to right now, just past fralin drive, and it looks like is trying to blend it back in and going the speed limit. we are coming u
