the mail ballots in pennsylvania have been consistently from county to county, red county to blue county, east to west, they have been consistently favorable to biden, because it's very clear in pennsylvania and elsewhere that where mail-in voting was an option, it was overwhelming the democrats who were doing it, who were voting by mail. republicans weren't. republicans were voting on election day. we see that divide. so everywhere -- and, craig, i mean everywhere in pennsylvania where we have had mail-in votes reported out, from all the red counties in the state here, the county itself may be a trump county, but the mail ballots from the county have been favoring biden. he's winning 75% of all mail ballots so far that have been counted in pennsylvania. so there is every reason to believe that joe biden is going to get the lion's share of these remaining mail-in votes and continue to pad that lead. he's already erased a significant deficit against trump as many of these have been counted. again, more to come. specifically what are we looking for in the next few hours? the city of philad

forsythe county, 4,713 votes. lawrence county, 1,797. taylor county, 456, and floyd county, 444.6 outstanding votes. so important to emphasize you have the provisional ballots. the counties have until a week from friday to certify these ballots. so there's no expectation it's going to be done late tonight or tomorrow. it may take a lot longer, particularly with these provisional ballots and then the state certifies the ballots by the 20th of november. which is still quite a distance away. so the race is very close in georgia. joe biden's had a pace that's been greater than 61% picking up these votes checking out absentee ballots. he just needs 61% based on this number. one other thing i want to mention to you, wolf and john, is this. i've spent the election day in ohio. i've spent time here. i've been with hundreds of election workers in both those states. there are thousands of election workers across this country. they are republicans. they are democrats. they are independents. they are good americans. we as journalists can take the disrespect from politicians. we're used to it

by county. just to preempt a question, are we seeing any widespread fraud or anything that makes us question the outcome of the election? we are not seeing any widespread irregularities or widespread. we are investigating any credible accusation with any real evidence behind it. let me tell you one thing. when you have a narrow margin, little small things can make a difference. everything is going to have to be investigated to protect the integrity of the vote. our office intends to do that. like i said, if you get a wide margin, it doesn't matter as much. a narrow margin, it does. we are looking at a margin of less than a high school. it is an important thing to protect the integrity of this election from all sides. reporter: with the margin we have and the certainty of a recount, are we going to know who won the presidency in georgia by the end of november? mr. sterling: with the timeline we have laid out -- let's go through the timeline again. we should be able to know by the end of november

was this in clark county? this is in clark county. and this is where a lot of the votes are still out in nevada. let's get that off the screen. clark county is where a lot of the outstanding votes are. we just got a very small batch. but there you go. biden builds his lead a little bit in that small batch. if that is an indication, if that is any indication -- were those provisional ballots? do we have a sense? because there are some different categories of ballots here. again, we've been saying the expectation has been that as these votes, these final votes are counted out in nevada, because of the nature of the early ballot, it may favor biden. and the democrats, we just got about 15,000 there, did favor biden and the democrats. that did boost biden's lead from 7,600 to over 12,000 statewide in nevada. we're going to continue to keep an eye on that. i'll show you what we're looking at in other states here. in pennsylvania right now, donald trump is sitting at 116,000 votes. that's his lead right now. that's come down in the last few

bucks county.his is outside philadelphia, very competitive county here politically but the mail ballots here have been overwhelmingly favoring joe biden. we've been seeing this in county after county across pennsylvania. bucks came into this morning with about 10,000 mail ballots to vote. i believe this is the third update we've gotten from bucks this morning. this is what continues to happen, they report out a few thousand votes, biden gains votes because he's winning the mail ballots so big there. you see what that just did, a minute ago i'm sitting here telling you about 8,800, now it's 9,746. that now is joe biden's statewide lead in pennsylvania, getting close to 10,000 now. what i was about to say, though, before that was, there are still a significant number of uncounted mail ballots throughout pennsylvania. there remain over 20,000 in philadelphia. i mentioned philadelphia this morning had a huge batch of those mail-ins that put biden into the lead statewide in philadelphia. the mail ballot

the county once they receive materials, each county will notice when their canvas is going to occur. the same thing happens at the municipal level. once that is complete and the county receives materials, the county them convenes their board of canvassers and begins the process. it will vary by jurisdiction and county but they will all be publicly noticed and available for people to engage with. >> thank you very much. >> next is scott howard. >> thanks again for doing the call. can you talk to me about provisional ballots? do have an idea of how many are out there and if we can give some perspective on how many we can assume will be out there? >> thanks so much for that question. thanks for bringing up provisional ballots. provisional ballots are if somebody did not have a photo id yesterday they are able to cast a provisional ballot under law and they have until friday 4:00 to still have that ballot counted. historically we have very few provisionals and i know today local election officials are putting that into the system, hosting the number of outstanding provisions but if we lo

big counties had multiple. what they are going to do is they will create -- i misspoke slightly today. they will not take actual live ballots, they will create a test deck that they know the outcome from it. votewill do hand-marking to say, we are going to make it 42 for the president, 58 for joe biden -- or 56, and two for jurgensen. they run that through the scanner to say, that is the outcome we expected. then you clear the votes off because you know the ballots -- the scanner is operating properly. then you take all the ballots regardless of where they came from, the absentee which is early vote or the bmd on election day, the traditional ballots, and they get all put through the central scanners. the intent is obviously that count will be very similar to the other one. let me caution everybody, it is going to be a little different. it always is in every recount in the history of mankind. people -- machines look at things slightly differently. fundamentally, it will not be off, it will always be a little bi

joe biden has now pulled ahead in this county erie county a critical swing county, blue collar county8 votes. we'll see what happens. the same dynamic we just talked about in couple county, that was shaded red as they count the mail-in ballots joe biden is winning them disproportionately because democrats chose to vote by mail and we talked about this before the election and now we're talking about it two days after the election three ways to vote. vote by mail. get in line, vote early, or show up on election day and vote early. when you look at pennsylvania again tip your hat to the president. he turned out his people with his rallies on the election day vote. now what is left to count are the mail-in ballots and joe biden is winning disproportionately somewhere in the ballpark of 76% of the ballots that have been counted in pennsylvania today have gone to joe biden. 76% have gone to joe biden so far today. if he gets 70%, he will pull out to a 40,000 vote lead in the commonwealth of pennsylvania so the trend line is clear. the snowball is coming down the hill. we just showed you two
