let's check in with courtney reagan. she joins us live with more on that and the rest of the day's business headlines. courtney, good morning. >> good morning to you. that's right. stocks are in the red. dow is down greater than 60 points. two hours into trade. this is after we had disappointing economic data as well as earnings. according to adp private sector jobs rose by just 119,000 in april. that's shy of economic -- economists expect tankses looking for about 150,000. the first of three reports on unemployment this week. it could be a signal that that big government jobs report will get on provide will also disappoint. earnings from mastercard, time warner among those coming up short on reported receive knew. automakers reporting their april sales numbers today, big ones come out in the next hour or so. sales expected to top 15 million vehicles for the sixth straight month. and volume ticks up. pickup trucks improving. ebay may be ready to join the coin revolution. the company is considering adding virtual currency

courtney reagan is in plano texas live. >> reporter: the meeting just conclude the annual shareholderas in the jcpenney headquarters here in plano, texas, led by ceo mike ullman and the main message there's nothing inherently stopping them from getting that customer back and made mention online sales would be positive this year. they were down 33% in 2012, that's more than what the brick and mortar sales were down. the other thing to note is that he showed the apology and the thank you ad to shareholders and he said according to customer surveys there's been a double-digit increase in the number of customers that said they have a stronger willingness to reconsider jcpenney after watching those ads. he wouldn't quantify it further only saying that he's been encouraged by what he's seen in the stores which is exactly what he told the analysts on "the call" and all of the 11 board members were reelected including bill ackman who was at the meeting but did not speech. ken hannah, the company's cfo, the chairman of the board thomas ignibis and janet dillon, counsel. all thanked mike ullman

courtney reagan, what are you hearing on the floor right now?is about the rebalancing going on? >> i think it is, bill. it seems to be a lot of the rebalancing. traders saying, don't worry, it's the end of the month, we've got rebalancing going on, flattening out the positions. we are off the lows, we were down 113, just a couple of months ago, up as high as 67 points at one point during the session. this does mark again another triple-digit trading range. the eighth trading day in a row of seeing moves like that. but if you can take a look quickly at a bond etf, the tlt, we did see a move up, right when we saw that first leg down around 3:00, we saw some heavy volume moving into this, but this is one indication of the market. and if i point out some of the weakness in the consumer staples. big names you don't often see fall as much as they are, pfizer down almost 3%. p&g, down 2.4%. remember, this is a group that's more sensitive to rising rates and we know that that ten-year, the yield, moving above that 2.19% level, or so, here. so some rebal
