craig melvin is there to tell us about this. >> reporter: right now, 16th streetorthwest from arkansas to newton shut down and officials say it will be shut down for some time. six block of 16th street northwest shut down. as you mentioned one person got in a house fire this afternoon at the corner of 16 and oak street. at ts point the fire officials are still working the identify that victim. we're told around 3:15 this afternoon, a passerby in the 3600 block of 16th street saw fire, saw smoke call 911. it was a two-alarm fire. the firefighters were here on the scene. while th were trying to put out the blaze they came across the dead body. again, at this point, no age, no gend. however, fire officials say they do not think anyon else was inside the rowhouse when that fire started. the fire and smoke with you so intense, did it do some damage tohe neighboring r houses but we're will they should be okay. too early to identify the cause of the fire. we believe it started on th third floor or perhaps the roof. in this case, the trf onaffic on 16th street, a nightmare. >> thank you. >>> a
