fire crews are up here at the corner of lookout and bay cove i'm sorry glencoe parkway. fire crews are up the hill monitoring the hotspots of the fire and all of the homes along the edge of the hillside. this fire started from a car that went through the toll plaza off of the carquinez bridge and pulled over on eastbound 80 somehow the fire spread to the hillside and then the flames went up the hill threatening homes on papers to drive at this point firefighters tell us they do have about four homes that were impacted so the flames either reached the back of the fence line or the back of the house itself but the good news is no homes burned down. we got an update from cal fire in all 20 or 30 homes were threatened and we spoke with one man was very worried about his disabled mother inside. he received a call from his brother who said the home next to them flames were close to the house so he started fighting the fire with a water hose in their yard. >> when i spoke with my brother he was very worried the way he was speaking i thought the house was on fire. i rushed down
