we did puerto vallarta and then santa cruz and now sacramento. want to come and support it and be allies and celebrate all the love. the sacramento lgbt community center organizes the annual event. we march not only to commemorate the sacrifices and struggle for rights, but also to give people an affirming space right where they can take up some space in their community, be their most authentic selves. walking through the streets of the cities that they love. they marched from t street at southside park to 10th avenue from high and then north to the capitol, representing different communities. hi. and in some cases, companies. it looks like we've got a pretty good contingent. sutter health says it had more than 300 people marching. i feel supported in showing their support. many wore creative, colorful costumes and brought along the whole family. i love watching pride through my son's eyes and watching the next generation be able to grow up and feel free the way that they want to be. and feel like they can be who they want to be. however that is.
