why, curtis sliwa? because this woman believes that it's because she had a case pending, an assault case pending against her at the time and so sowell kind of turned the tables and claimed that she had assaulted him. but i just don't get it, curtis, because this should have been a slam-dunk for prosecutors. he's a convicted rapist and she's accusing him of doing the exact same thing he did before. >> it will be interesting to see the backgrounds of the victims that they found who are buried underneath this home because i bet you they are part what have we have as a throwaway society for women. if you're a dope fiend, crackhead, meth head, run away, prostitute, we say see you later, we forget you. your file goes into cold case file and maybe it will get solved at some point in the future. we don't view these people as being like the person next door, like "leave it to beaver" land. curtis sliwa, a lot of times the cops do release video. but it seems hit or miss. do they release the video when it backs up their story or don't release it when the video doesn't back up their story? >> this whole story makes no sense. i used to be a night manager of mcdonald's in the bronx. i managed a supermarket. i had people bum rushing to the front of the line, fighting with cashiers, fighting with attendants. yeah, they sometimes get dragged out by the police. they cool out for 72 hours and get a disappearance ticket and everybody goes their way. i would think walmart, the number one cooperation in america, would want this to go away. this is not good news to walmart. yet the tennessee stump jum percent over there in missouri just want to make this a capital offense. >> i tell you why it hasn't gone away. because my reading of the police report is the police got a little too personally involved in this case. she was leaving the store. whatever happened inside, whether there were racial epithets, she was leaving the store at the time the police arrived. she w

judy koriansky, jayne weintraub, there she is, curtis sliwa, founder of the guardian angels and radio reporter ken robinson. i am also very pleased to have with me on the phone inez fortune, mother of one of the victims found inside the house. inez, we are going to get to you in just a moment but first, i want to start with ken robinson, radio reporter, wtam in cleveland. what, dare we ask, is the very latest on this investigation into the house next door? >> well, the very latest is that yes, there was a stench coming from that house. neighbors complained again that the smell had returned, so cleveland police arrived to investigate. they brought in a crew. the house next door was actually being renovated, according to the owner. the owner says he's been working on rebuilding and reconfiguring this house and there was a lot of junk in the backyard, a lot of debris, so police had to bring a crew in to remove a lot of debris from the backyard, and now they're going to bring in thermal imaging equipment. they're going to scour that backyard, try to detect if any bodies are buried there.
