happened just a few hours ago. >> damian trujillo is tracking the latest. do you have any idea how this all started? >> the fire investigators are still investigating and i left the scene at 4:30 and some big trucks there but crews still there trying to find the cause of this fatal fire. it presents a challenge for firefighters east lawn street is only a short distance from the 0.co coliseum. firefighters say they fought the flames for roughly 45 minutes. almost an hour when crews first arrived early this morning, they say there were flames coming from the top and the bottom floor of the apartment building. crews also had to go in to make sure there no other victims trapped inside the building. the battalion chief on the scene confirms two people were critically injured in the fire. the chief also said those two victims later died from their injuries. at last check there is still, again, official cause of this fire. investigators will be on the scene for a while looking for that cause. police officers are also there to secure the scene for those crews. i'm
