thank you for joining us, i am dan ashley. ama: i am ama daetz. a freeway shut down on thousands of people stuck in traffic, the third time in less than a week to happen in the bay area. dan: today it was highway 24 after a freeway shooting. yesterday a naked person with a gun shut down i-80 and 880 by the bay bridge. last friday, the start of a 17 hour shutdown of the richmond-san rafael bridge because of a person having a mental health crisis. incidents like these can make it unbearable. lena howland talked to investigators as well as witnesses. ama: she found advice on what you should do if you find yourself in the situation. reporter: westbound lanes of highway 24 shut down for reports of another freeway shooting, involving two cars for about half an hour wednesday morning, after 11:00. this comes a day after all eastbound lanes of i-80 were closed on the east side of the bay bridge toll plaza over this. >> this guy has a gun. reporter: michael crawford and his coworker were back to the east after work. they came across a car blocking multiple
