danielle miller has the story tonight. >> luckily there were no injuries during this mountain rescue. we have so many of these stories every year. we cover them and they have such different endings than this one did. this one ended positively and firefighters tell us this now take a look here. we have skyfox video of this rescue. fire crews are telling us that three women in their 40s, they were from out of town and they had been hiking since around 9:15 this morning. they were lost right around noon today. they say that the women became lost after coming over the top of camelback from the echo canyon trail. when they got into the cholla side, that's when they became lost. they tell us that women were about 200 to 300 feet off the

fox 10's danielle miller is in queen creek tonight with more. danielle? queen creek where two of the boys grew up with their adoptive parents. we are told that the other two siblings were adopted by two separate families. the family here in queen creek says the fact that their biological mother was released today brought up a lot of feelings and emotions. >> i think it was a blessing that came out of a tragedy. >> that blessing for sandy her two adopted sons, matthew and michael. >> we got them at two months old right after the abuse happened. we got them out of the hospital. they were very small, and they were broken and beautiful. >> the boys' biological mother, 42-year-old elizabeth whittle was released today after spending 17 years in prison for child abuse involving her quadruplets. >> i am christian, so i have given it to god over it, and i have said, okay, this is in your hands, and i'll just pray for nothing else i can do about it. >> police say whittle shook the infants, causing brain damage, broken bones and detached retinas. matthew is now 17 y

our daniel miller joins us now with the new medical information both of the candidates are releasing. >> daniel: a sinus infection, ear that is what hillary clinton has been diagnosed with over the course of this year according to a letter from the candidate's personal doctor. this as donald trump shared information including his desire to lose weight with tv's dr. oz [coughing] >> reporter: before hillary clinton goes back to the campaign trail, her team released a letter from her personal doctor who says the candidate has been examined several times and her health continues to improve. clinton was diagnosed with the letter also contained a list of her current medications, some of which help prevent blood clots or treat allergies. her blood pressure, heart rate and cholesterol all within normal range. the doctor saying the candidate is in, quote "excellent physical condition and fit to serve as president of the united states." >> my mom is so healthy. i mean, gosh, i hope i am as healthy at 38 as she is at 68. people know a lot about her health and have seen her for gosh now 40 some

daniel miller in the control room with more on this investigation. >> reporter: hingham police say those teens got away with $14,000 in now police and apple want them back. officials say about ten teens hit the store at the derby street shops around 5:40 last night. the teens were all allegedly wearing sweatshirts with their hoods on and accused of grabbing the iphones and making a mad dash to the door. some of the boys were seen leaving in what looked like a white ford taurus with the license plate covered up. the same witness said that parking lot toward a kohl's. pretty similar to an incident back in july. this is video from a gas station store in roslindale. a large group of teens ransacked the place and they only got away candy and snacks and the first of something that we may have seen like this before. hingham police are investigating the apple store robbery and waiting for apple to send them surveillance camera footage. we will keep you posted. in the control room, daniel miller, fox25 morning news. >>> bos william evans said to get back the stand today in the controversy over la

danielle miller, fox 10 news. >>> a two-year-old boy is rushed the leg. it happened overnight near 40th avenue and peoria. police say that that boy found the handgun in a drawer at home and then shot himself in the leg. a neighbor says this happened in front of another six-year-old child who was in the home. that neighbor rushed over to try to help. >> i was in the house, in the back, and my dogs were carrying on and carrying on. i usually don't look, and i opened the curtain and i looked out and i saw the paramedics. i ran out real quick, and then i went over there, and i -- little boy was in the window hanging out, screaming and screaming, and i said -- and then grandpa was there, and i said, what's wrong joe? and he said, oh, my grandson just shot himself. >> well, that boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but the good news is he's expected to be okay. police are still investigating how exactly this happened. >>> a weather alert tonight in florida, where hurricane hermine is hitting the shore, wind and as the eye of the -- the wall of t
