daniel miller joins us now. daniel we do not know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash? >> reporter: we don't know that gene. we know this morning that state police are focusing on the woman you see here. as the driver in that wrong way crash on 495. state police identified her as 31-year-old balance lenteen burson as person driving south of the northbound side of the highway just after midnight monday when she hit a car with four college students inside. burson and state police say they are conducting toxicology tests to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role. they are also looking to see if either vehicle had a black box recording what happened. in the moments before the crash. and state police told the boston globe even if either vehicle had those recording devices they may have been destroyed. now we pulled the driving record of the wrong way driver, they showed between 2004 and 2015 she had five speeding tickets split this last january. family members are speaking out about wrong way driver. mother told the globe that she just landed her dream job working

fox25's daniel miller joins us now and daniel, this incident also happened so close to a school. >> that's right, sara. it happened on the old rail trail. that she was walking on that section of the trail when a man wearing a mask rode up who her on his bike, tried grab her and then exposed himself. the woman immediately backed away and started shouting for help. the suspect took off. other people on the trail heard her calls for help and immediately called 911. police closed off the trail for about a mile while they used a police dog to search for any sign of the suspect. >> would wouldn't have that problems, but something that is happening everywhere today and you just got to be concerned about it. >> daniel: police say the suspect was wearing a black or gray ski cap and a ski mask that pulled up to about his nose. he was about 5'7"and had a thin build and riding a mountain bike. and sara, i am reaching out to to the police to find out if they have any new information in this case and i will bring it to if you they do. >> let's hope they track this guy down. >>> new numbers this morning

fox25 daniel miller has look at what's happening right now. >> daniel: gene and sara, yo hurricane matthew within miles of the florida coast and massive trees already ripped from the ground. this is video of some of the damage of stewart florida, which is south of port st. lucie and sky lit up and heavy whipping through palm trees. take look at video from melbourne, florida. you can see the strong winds are causing rough surf, waves smashing against the rocks. mel burn supposed to be one of the hardest hit areas. roads in the area have been evacuated. further north in sanford, parts of sanford surrounded by two lakes and the city is 2 miles of the coast of florida and flooding some places already started stranding cars in this area. trees and power lines have not been knocked down and blocking access to some of the roads there. and this is what it looks like in daytona. this video is actually you could see the roads there impassable. emergency workers stopping cars and telling people to turn have evacuated but not all of them. they are concerned it will collapse a pier on the beach. now, t

daniel miller joins us. and some of the family members of those victims say this tragedy was preventable. >> daniel: families are reeling. robert higgins lived in warren, rhode island and would leave morning. the toer victim is 53-year-old kelvin maddox from brockton. this is maddox pictured with his wife and daughter. co-workers say he was a family man and a long-time hard opinion is working employee of atlantic drain service. fox25 found dozens of osha violations against the company. since 2007, atlantic drain has been cited for 16 serious violations. some of the fines were specifically for drain safety. higgins aunt and uncle question how they can stay >> his death was tragic and from what we heard, should not have happened. >> they continue to get jobs. why? >> daniel: fox25 has learned that atlantic drain has tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid fines. that osha is trying to recoup through debt collections. fox25 reached out to the company about the past penalties but the company refused to comment. f

fox25 daniel miller is tracking the damage. daniel, you talked to someone in haiti this morning. >> about an hour ago this morning, and hurrican matthew has made landfall and packing strong winds and heavy rain. several caribbean countries are in the direct path of the storm right now. storm also expected to dump up to 25 inches of rain haiti is expected to get hit over the next several hours. this morning i talked with the staff member as be like brit orphanage, orphanage was started by local family. staff member told me that right now they are safe and staying in place. that member also says they have inacted the emergency plan and central personnel are on the ground. >> it is still early in the storm and we have been told to but so far everybody is good. >> around 1:00 this morning the staff member says the facility started receiving phone calls from other staff members saying they did not feel safe where they were, so they were picked up and brought to the orphanage. staff member also estimates 150 people are there, includes

an yell miller -- danielle miller is live with more. >> reporter: the fire ignited hugely over the weekend and it is still crazy a few days the fire started. you can see some of the damage the fire left behind. there are burned buildings and leftover scaffolding out here. luckily, the condos were under construction so the good news is nobody was hurt. this fire broke out around 7:15 saturday night here at the condos at gilbert and juniper. the cause of the fire is still under investigation but gilbert fire officials are telling us they are currently working with find out what happened. fire crews say they are currently looking for a person of interest. they say this witness reported seeing a young male wearing a maroon a.s.u. sweatshirt and black or dark gym shorts around the time the fire broke out. fire officials are not saying this person is a suspect at this time but just telling us they want to talk to him to get further information. fire officials cause of the fire is under investigation. they haven't said if it was arson or accidental just not sure. they are asking anyone with infor
