we head through 3:00 up to 102 in danville and concord and livermore.his area may set a new record today for concord and for hayward we're going to possibly match the record high temperature for today, and then for the north bay also really hot but we go into tonight with upper 60s. as we go into the weekend, we'll be tracking the storm systems moving across the pacific midwest right now blocked by high pressure but as the high pressure moves out of the way, cooler air moves in. we'll see clouds on saturday, especially on sunday, mostly cloudy skies and then a slight chance of rain in the forecast for monday especially for the north bay, kind of looks like it breaks apart for the rest of the bay area but nice to at least see a slight chance of rain in the forecast, going into next week, coming along with some much cooler temperatures, so the inland valleys from 101 today to 75 for the high on monday. i'll have a look more at these drastic changes coming up in the next forecast. >> thank you, kari. >>> parts of southeast spain under water this morning. a

upper 70s in danville and mostly upper 70s in the south bay. going into this evening, the winds start to pick up and temperatures start to cool off pretty fast in time for the evening commute and going out for dinner, going for a walk later today. it will be really nice. then we'll come back down to some 50s later on tonight. if you're like me, you've been sneezing a lot, you're probably allergic to elm trees. that's really high right now. everything else is fairly low on the pollen report. breezy winds picking up, carrying that pollen across the bay area. here is what's going on with our weather setup. we have some seasonable weather today. this is where we should be this time in september. going into the weekend we start to see the influence of high pressure, giving us a northerly wind and also some hotter temperatures. there will still be some storm systems to our north to every now and then push down cool air our way. next week, unfortunately, it will be all high pressure. and so that's going to create an offshore wind. it will be very dry.
