firefighters have been trying to put it out for more than an hour and darcy spencer is live there with the latest. >> reporter: we're standing right around the bend from where that fire is happening. a lot of streets are blocked off with fire trucks and hose line. this is as close as we can get. the good news is no one was hurt. no one was home in the house where the fire started and no firefighters have been injured. it's 90 degrees. it's hot out here. this went to two alarm. part of the reason to get additional firefighters out here because it's such an intense fire. let's go to some of the video. the fire started at the back of one of the townhouses here and then it went through the roof of that house. there was, as you mentioned, a partial roof collapse. now fortunately as i said no one was hurt. but some families have been displaced from three townhouses, five adults, five kids. some pictures were shot. you can see the flames that were shooting when he first arrived. let's hear from the chief. >> no injuries at this time. it's 90 degrees out here which is pretty rough for the fire
