dave chappelle was paid about $20 million for his special on netflix.etflix hq close to us here. they can be formed into three different groups, those who support dave chappelle and his right to free speech, those who believe that his remarks were potentially harmful to transgender people, and those who are opposed to transgenderism as a concept, and they chanted "love you, don't change yourself". much of the controversy has been brought about because netflix said they brought it on themselves by issuing e—mails to staff in which they defended dave chappelle, who has of course made a lot of money for netflix, and basically appeared to turn a deaf ear to the whole controversy. since then netflix has somewhat backed down, and issued a statement saying, "we understand the deep hurt that has been caused by this, and we respect the decision of any employee who chooses to walk out." netflix�*s co—ceo has admitted that in his words, he "screwed up" in his response to the controversy initially. david willis there with the details. stay with us on bbc news — sti

well, to help us delve into those numbers is dave wasserman of the cook political report. mr. wasserman, when you look at the census figures and the redistricting that is ahead, which political party do you see as benefiting the most at this point? >> we are going to have to wait to find out. the census showed a country getting more diverse, more urban protection 52% loss of population june 2010 and 2020 that goes to show rural america is declining relative to america's cities and suburbs. on the surface that is goodness for democrats because after all they are the party doing better in cities and suburbs. the caveat is the country's politics have not changed that much in the last ten years. this added diversity, the growth is not necessarily made it more favorable they won the white house by this same popular vote margin 2020 that they did in 2012. the more important part of this is how lines are drawn from state to test states republicans get to draw the maps in 20 states totaling 187 districts. that is because state legislatures for the most part of the ones who bear respon

>> yeah, i agree with dave on that. would you echo also the point on bio that you made, stephanie, with, yeah there are really areas where we need a whole world effort in the case of ai, that is assuring that the safety and security of ai systems, especially as they get increasingly powerful and implemented in high stakes domain. so things like nuclear command and control, offensive fiber operations or even some might think cyber operations and you're seeing high stakes areas where even a single accident could potentially set off very dangerous spirals. and i think everyone needs to be aware that these systems don't always act in the way that we think and there is real risk there and i think that is an area where if one country or if one company even does it wrong, there could be real risks that hurt everyone. so there will be competition in a lot of the parts of the ai eco-system but that is an area where i would emphasize we need cooperation as well. >> i would agree with what both dave and remco said. would you only
