good morning, dave.eah, the homeowner was in reasonably good spirits considering what happened, but you could tell he was overwhelmed by the task ahead of him and the mess he now has to clean up right now you see some pga trucks and some work crews. there's a guy in a pga vest kind of in the ground. they had to dig this big hole to start repairing the broken gas main and just to the right of that, you can see the car that crashed into the side of this san leandro home. you can see the car is still kind of lodged in the frame of the house. and the living room of this house is now gone. this all happened around 1:00 this morning in san leandro. were on 148th near bancroft. now we don't know why this crash happened or why the driver may have been speeding, whether drugs or alcohol were a factor. we reached out to police to try and get some more details, but the homeowner tells us he was out of town on a camping trip when this happened . his adult son was inside when the car crashed into the house. he was as

dave devlin live tonight in the newsroom. dave thank you. oakland police are investigating a shooting that left three people wounded in the fruitvale district. police say officers responded to 35th avenue near international boulevard at about 1030 last night and found a man and two women suffering from gunshot wounds. police say the male victim had been arguing with several other men prior to that shooting. the victims were taken to the hospital and are said to be in stable condition. no arrests have been made. oakland police are also investigating two separate sideshows that happened overnight. video shows a large crowd watching as vehicles took over the intersection of 66th avenue and coliseum way around 330 this morning. a second sideshow was reported at eads avenue and helgenberger road about 30 minutes later. police say officers were able to safely disperse the crowd in both of these incidents. no injuries were reported. stretch of interstate 80 and contra costa county is scheduled to reopen 5:00 tomorrow morning. caltrans has closed th
