friday november 19th i'm dave clark. >> i'm pam cook. two men are dead after a car crash in san francisco early this morning. police say a car carrying five people driving within on ocean avenue at 12:40 12:40 -- at 12:45. the driver lost control and hit a pole. two men were thrown from the car. one was pronounced dead at the scene. the other died at the hospital. the official cause is still under investigation. >>> scary moments in the air after a plane's windshield cracked mid flight. a passenger took this photo probably as they exited the plane. the delta airlines flight was heading to john wayne airport from atlanta yesterday when an emergency was declared. the pilot told passengers no air was leaking and no glass had broken. but the flight was diverted to dallas. the investigation is under way. >>> 6:31 this morning the investigation continues into a mysterious powder. that incident sent a police officer to the hospital. jade hernandez is joining us live. she has the latest on what happened. good morning, jade. >> reporter: good mor

monday november 22nd i'm dave clark. >> i'm pam cook. time now is 6:30. >>> a man who police say sexually assaulted a young girl in her bedroom in berkeley is on the run this morning. it happened early saturday morning on evelyn avenue. tara moriarty is in berkeley with more on where police think this suspect is heading. good morning. >> reporter: good measuring. a state-wide man hunt is under way for a berkeley man that sexually assaulted a young girl. we're here off of evelyn avenue where detectives believe 27- year-old omar sosa climbed through an unlocked bedroom window and attacked the girl. >> at this point we believe he has fled the bay area and heading south toward mexico if a-- south toward mexico to avoid an arrest. >> reporter: he may be driving a gray 1997 ford ranger pickup truck. it is a double cab with a white camper shell. officials do not have a license plate number at this time. police did say the victim was able to give an identity of the victim rather quickly and they are calling her efforts to further this investigat

i'm dave clark. >> good morning. i'm tori campbell. it's monday, november 1st. >>> this morning, san francisco police are searching for suspects in a city in the potrero hill neighborhood. one of the victims, a 3-year- old girl, who just returned from a halloween event and is now fighting for her life. claudine wong has more details on the ongoing investigation. >> reporter: good morning, tori. yes. this investigation is underway. we're at police headquarter the at the hall of justice. at this this hour two of the three shooting victims are fighting for their lives. one of the victims, the 3-year- old girl. this happened around 10:00 last night in the potrero hill -- potrero hill neighborhood. a man was hit once, the little girl multiple times. her injuries are being described by police as life- threatening. a short distance away on cota, a 20-year-old man was also found suffering from life- threatening injuries. he too had been shot multiple times. at this point we don't know if and how the victims knew each other or if the shootings

i'm dave clark. >> good morning. i'm tori campbell. it's tuesday, november 9th. >>> this morning, oakland police are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting. some critical questions still need to be answered. kraig debro spoke to two witnesses. >> reporter: our witnesses tell us the suspect was shot at the bottom of the lamppost with the witnesses about five feet away and the officers about five feet away. they maintain the suspect was not armed. however, they did say the man was moving around. this all came in as a domestic dispute call around 9:30 last night. it started over at a laundromat. the laundromat, i can see where i am locate. it's on bancroft. i can see part of the sign. the officers arrived at the scene. they confronted the n inside. there was a chase that started down bancroft and went down seminary. the man turned right on traffic. according to the witnesses, the officers caught up with the man. he was hiding between two cars. when he got to the lamppost, he tried to climb the fence. he was told to stop and that'

i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. it's tuesday, november 16th. >>> oakland police are checking to see if there's a connection between a high-speed chase, a crash, and a series of disturbing street robberies. ktvu's kraig debro joins us live from oakland police headquarters now with some new information. good morning, kraig. >> reporter: good morning, tori. typically when there's robbery and there's suspects, they are arrested a little later, perhaps down the line a little bit. in this case, we're talking about armed street robberies in the lake merritt area took place between 6:00 -- between 6:00 and 7:00. the suspects were arrested in the morning. police believe these same people are responsible also for several terrifying armed street robberies. police cornered two individuals not far from the hospital. police say a white sedan crashed into another car at that intersection and the suspect split on foot. police followed close behind but couldn't find the suspects initially. officers called in at
