dave spahr has been tracking the weather for us this morning.ning. we start things off sending you to the mountains because we been talking about the mountain snow until 4:00 this afternoon. there is a winter weather advisory is this one. three to 6 inches down two about 3000 feet. one to 2 inches and down to 1500 that may cause travel problems with that. this winter storm warning is until 4:00 thursday morning it looks like with this. low elevation snows and reduced visibility. this will come with winds. at least getting through it if you have to come back there or you are traveling there, it's going to be a sticky situation. starting to break up it looks like on the east bay shoreline. a good portion of the peninsula with the most intense rain for now in the inland spots. down to the south bay, a little bit holding on. don't forget these higher elevations. putting this into motion we see a clearer patch making its way in the south bay along the peninsula and the north bay just temporary until the next shoe falls later on this afternoon and int

for more on that here's dave spahr. while we are getting a bit of a break with the rain today, throughout the bay area we are seeing the damage it has done. >> reporter: 04 is here and there will finance but to fill the 47 vallejo 4947 pinsetter rose up. and of before shut the golden gate bridge temperatures lower 50s cloudy again and scattered showers for us today. one of the area's hardest hit is hollister. here is video of that area after heavy rains came down yesterday afternoon. you can see how high the water levels rose throughout the city. officials issued a flash flood warning for that area until about 4:15. a temporary shelter has been set up in cooperation with american red cross at the veteran's hall at san benito street and 7th street. another area that's been hit hard is san anselmo. the creek there is lower then it was last week after heavy rains slammed the area. but people who live and have businesses in the area have placed sandbags out to prepare for this latest round of storms. also in the east bay. a
