dave spahr says it's going to get warm. >> in all the usual places on dave again. chipping away we fill up the coast in the east bay shore a little bit today and the fog still lingering. as you can see it half moon bay, though, although starting to lift off. it looks like a little bit in the last couple of frames. so for today, going remain hot in those inland valleys, some relief around the bay and certainly at the coast, we're seeing that process as well. and here's what's going on for right now. the satellite picture doesn't have our new intruder coming into early next week. that's going really cool us down bring fog and potentially some drizzle. once this high weakens. we'll have a meandering low off of our coast now with a cutoff low show. it doesn't much moisture deal with. that's only about this. but at least it will be kind of close by here and that will keep temperatures down. looks like a little bit 74 for antioch, 69 for livermore 66 conquered east bay shoreline is hold on to the 60's for right now. we've got 60's up to the north bay too 57 for san franc

right. >> let's turn dave spahr with more on the forecast high day. okay. good morning, guys. morning. everybody. i'm going to take this fog off first, forget the sun going. it's out here for us. here's half moon bay. and this may be a problem area. those areas along the coast that fog may linger a little bit into the early afternoon. but we probably will get some clearing by this afternoon, at least everywhere. it's going to clear up for the bay area. looks like in the next couple of hours here. so we'll go off that typical mostly sunny mode. how does it look like as we take a look at tahoe, mostly sunny, a gradual warm up here into tuesday. nothing too major here it through the 70's. you'll notice because this is all before the heat spike coming our way stormtracker 4 continues to show the traffic west to east. we've been seeing this over the last couple of weeks. the only problem is the systems dipping far enough south to incorporate us to get some rain in here. all we get is this the marine layer like we're getting and maybe a little token shower along the coast expected f

dave spahr has tell us more about that high de noel and marty, good morning.g, everybody. off to a pretty good most locations across the bay. as you can see, the sun is out little bit of haze that we're negotiating through a little bit and temperatures are going to warm up in the inland valleys. very nicely in the 80's pull back a little bit early into the week right now we do see some fog lingering in spots like half moon bay. this is using a trap. any way outside the golden gate bridge. this probably takes the cake and this will probably clear out as we approach around the noon hour. speaking of which tomorrow morning. what does it look like. well, a little collection of fog, but by 8.30 that to even up the coast is maxing be a bit cooler, though. 71 in iraq thus far 61 going on for concord. most locations. you can see are in the 50's and we're a little bit warmer than we were yesterday except railing on the peninsula and portions of the east bay shoreline. so for today, 77 by high noon to 3 at 79 approaching about 80. and again, we're going to see some 80's

much cooler over all around the bay area, especially compared to last week kron 4 meteorologist dave spahr joins us now in the weather center with a look at some of these cooler temps safe and get a load how the fog is going sun as we take a look at the u c berkeley. and look at this. it's just kind of some puffy cumulus there's the some of the fog clouds just starting to get a handle on things. and yes, you're right. cooling things down. >> going to be a different week day forecast. we have coming up compared what we've been through. here's the progress of the fog across the bay area doesn't seem to be real uniform as we typically get with this. so with somewhat patches, how would define it. but around the immediate phase where you want to look the collection of their the north bay in the santa cruz mountains, by the way, for tonight. our winds have retired pretty much of a good on shore flow keeping their cool things down a little bit. look at fairfield. 26 mile per hour winds into the teens for a lot of the east bay temperature checked. we've got 79 at this hour for antioch 81 for liver

we'll break it all dave spahr is breaking down the weather forecast for us, though. y. and checking off some of that morning fog and lee spots as we start to go into a mostly sunny mode for much of the bay. it will still be some scattered clouds lingering in and around the immediate bay area. what we've got going on is a warming trend coming our way. this is the shot from half moon bay. the coastal areas always very sensitive as we see the golden gate bridge is still shrouded in some of the fog as well. so that mixes out well before noon and returning in spilling into the central valley before midnight tonight. so we do see a couple little stray showers around the big one on for tonight. that will be nice little nocturnal shower. mid 60's cover the east bay shoreline. we got lower 70's off to the far east. this is right now and that is a little warmer than we were this time from yesterday, although some of this fog will slow us down a bit. we'll see about 78 by 1 o'clock by 4.79 with some lower 80's to be had in eastern contra. costa county into solano county. well, m

find out for sure from dave spahr high day. >> okay. good morning, guys. good morning.larly early into next week. we have a change in the weather pattern coming our way. and that will be some nice relief right now. still battling the fog is what we see from our pictures of this is half moon bay. a little bit of drizzle. also coming with this we will start to see across the wider bay sfo. yes, activity. looks like there's traffic going on. there are no delays, by the way, happening there. so the breakdown puts us at about 90 by 1 o'clock at 4 o'clock. 92 still venturing into the 90's but will probably be into the 80's tomorrow. the bay in the 70's with some lower 80's to be had. most of the fog will be contained by high noon. little bit of a breeze to report not a whole lot of one, though. we'll see that pick up a little bit as we get into early next week. you know, kind of onshore flow son optically speaking as we see the fog start to build little bit early in the next week. we'll take a look at your 4 zone forecast and that extended coming up in a bit. well. >> thanks,
