davenport, close race, nobody is going to get a big advantage there. still some to come in story county, aims, sanders and warren, a college county, iowa state, still room for sanders to gain a little bit there. there are pockets here potentially for sanders to make gains. also places like this, mason city where buttigieg is doing well, sanders isn't. some places where buttigieg can balance that. polk county, a third, immediate des moines suburbs, dead even there. a third to come in. when you look at the math on state delegate equivalents, 29 may not seem like a lot, but in a race this tight with 25% to come, it starts to get difficult for sanders to make something up like that. so the possibility here certainly exists that buttigieg will hang on to this and win the state delegates equivalence, that's traditionally how this has been measured. we'll see what that brings. if that does hold, you can expect to hear a lot about this from the sanders side. this is the first time they've ever released the initial preference, closest thing to a popular vote. t
