tomorrow summer begin. 15 hours and 38 seconds of daylight. hope you enjoy it but i hope you to get a good night's sleep. future weather shows the clouds moving on that in. tomorrow the possibility of a few sprinkles and even some signs of some clearing going on to the north and the east. over the course of the day a few spotty showers. the best chance would be to the south of philadelphia and then we slowly dry it out during the evening and the overnight. sunday looking like a real nice day. so here comes that area of low pressure tracking a little bit farther to the south. and earlier today that easterly wind will keep the clouds in and cooler temperatures in the 70s with some breaks in the clouds and once again a chance of a shower or best chance to the south of philadelphia. for your sunday high pressure moves in and really pushes that low to the south. a much better day, a milder day, blue skies, temperature in the 80s and it stays nice for monday. we'll see a really nice first week of summer. with a limited amount of moisture. so far so

and edward reiskin said he had a name for it it's called daylight savings time daylighting it's a well known practice within sfmta but they have a construction timeline or schedule they were moving westward and even though the statistics suggest there are certain intersections on the outer fulton area that have state of california more accidents than others they're not jumping their construction timetables to address those particular intersections that are problem. my request to the commission and i don't know if they have the authority to do it would be to write director reiskin and to the board of sfmta asking them to jump their timeline and address the daylighting issue on certain streets crossings i generally think it's 38 avenue and beyond where the parking goes up to the crosswalks if you have an issue with a large r v or vehicle there's no oncoming view i've been trapped at the safeway there you are it's an ankle last year distance and 9 out of 10 pedestrians and the drivers can see each other you need the distance i ask you to write a letter if at all you possibly ca can ask th

it seems to me there is a lot of daylight -- and i choose this not because it's controversial but it relates to an area where the federal government has never been thought to have authority namely family law. there are no federal marriage, federal divorce, federal adoption. it's all state law. let's assume an international treaty is approved by two-thirds of the senate and the president which requires states to approve same-sex marriage. now if that were self-executing treaty, same-sex marriage would have to be approved by every state. if it is not self-executing however it will be up to congress to produce that result and congress would do it or couldn't do it at least by having a federal marriage law. then you would have to have the federal divorce law. i suppose the federal adoption law. i think there's a big difference between just doing it through a self-executing treaty and dragging the congress into areas where it has never been before. i think there is daylight between the treaty and requiring the treaty to be implemented in the fashion that you assert is necessary. >> i woul
