what do you know about this, deanna? >> reporter: we can tell you that investigators just left here. they were here for about an hour. we saw detectives from both montgomery county and bucks county here at this horsham apartment and they left with what appeared to be a box of evidence. take a look at video we shot just a while ago. investigators arrived here before 4:00. they spent about an hour inside this horsham apartment. this is place where jacob sullivan lived with sara packer and another woman, a woman who the district attorney of bucks county named as a person of interest in the case when he gave a news conference on sunday, the day that sara packer was arrested. now because this woman has not been charged or implicated in a crime, we are not naming her tonight. however her attorney did come outside and spoke with us about her involvement with the police investigation to this point. >> she's cooperating, she has been cooperating. i didn't know they were going to do that, but i understand why they're doing that. >

nbc 10's deanna durante reports. >> it is completely unacceptable for you to sit here and not to demand answers. a 15-year-old girl died. >> reporter: we weren't the only ones who came looking for answers about sara packer and her adoption as an adoption supervisor with north hampton account. did anybody look at her case file when she was terminated? >> as that information becomes available, we will. >> reporter: we've been reaching out to john brown for weeks. calls and e-mails haven't been returned. tell me why you ignored me for three weeks. >> i have no other comment, thank you. >> reporter: the county fired sara when it learned of a criminal investigation into her husband, david. he pleaded guilty to molesting a foster daughter and also grace parker when she was 12. county officials released a statement confirming sara had worked for the county. what did you know when you fired her and what did you do with that information? >> i'm not even sure i'm privy to that information. >> reporter: packer was a foster mother to 30 children. grace and her siblings were placed by berks county.

and tonight nbc 10's deanna durante got her hands on some of packer's social media postings. it includes what appears to be bragging about having a child in the hospital in a psychiatric ward. >> at first the posts seem like typical quizzes, thoughts and feelings and pictures of grace packer and other children. then there's this long entry posted by sara in september of 2009. she talks about grace and her brother, makes mention of two other foster children, one she complains ran away after calling police she writes, the child is, quote, nice and safe in the psych ward for a couple of days. what comes to mind when you see that? >> it's disturbing to me. we'll go wherever the evidence leads. >> we caught up with district attorney matt winetraub at a bucks county event. he won't say if these postings nbc 10 has obtained are part of the case. he says forensic investigators are still looking at phones and other evidence. >> really leave no stone unturned. >> reporter: packer is accused of acting out a rape/murder fantasy with her boyfriend. they're accused of murdering grace. pack

nbc 10's deanna durante spoke to the victim's family. >> he doesn't remember a lot of it. he took blows to the edhad. he doesn't know what happened. >> reporter: it was just as the sun was rising and the manager of this rite aid was opening the doors for the day. he didn't know he wasn't alone until he was punched kicked and robbed by a man with the gun. we're not identifying the victim. he has head injuries a swollen eye and marks across the face. kelly ann is the man's sister-in-law. >> he didn't -- never would have thought twice about going to work. >> reporter: a major concern for police, the victim followed orders, didn't speak to the armed man and handed over the cash. >> the amount of violence in this, especially since most of the assault occurred after he had gotten the money. >> reporter: police need to get this guy off the streets. they have no reports of him striking in the area for sure and they want to make sure this is the only crime he's able to pull off. holcomb says her brother-in-law is out of the hospital but not sure about coming back to work alone. it

deanna durante. what are the conditions like? >> reporter: we're getting a pretty good soaking here. the rain picked up in the last couple minutes. you can see the delaware river. now we checked in with emergency management officials here in bucks county. despite the fact that they're getting an inch, 1 1/2 of rain no major issues to report. 4,000 customers in the county did lose power. most of the customers have their powers restored. that was due to some downed trees. take a look at some of the videos shot earlier today. this morning in aston, delaware county that's where you can see a tree fell taking off half of a house there. most of the damage appears to be on the second floor, no one was inside the house and there were no reported injuries there. but again here in bucks county, rescue calls down to a minimum. the biggest problem they say is rain but the emergency management director says because it's been so dry they are not expecting any major flooding problems here in this area. reporting live in new hope. deanna durante

he sat down with nbc 10's deanna durante to tell his story. >> reporter: she's small. shackled and cuffed and despite her soft spoken testimony that was barely above a whisper in court. police say she planned an invasion that literally left a man dead. >> he felt like his head was coming off his body. >> reporter: you can see the scar on the neck. doctors told him he may never speak again. more than two months after the attack he took the witness stand and used his voice to testify against those he says attacked him. court papers say the woman wanted to live in an apartment and wanted the stuff that people lived here had. one reason why she set the wheels in motion. she told the judge she and the two men waited for hours trying to spot their intended victim. once the group thought they left, she didn't expect grimes to answer. >> as a result, we had what was one of the most horrific crimes that i've seen as a prosecutor over a long period of time. >> reporter: why a box cutter was used on grimes, reaves stuffed what they could in trash bag and leaving grimes to die. gr
