deanna durante joining us live from temple hospital. the victim's brother also working at that restaurant. >> reporter: yes. that's the man police say the suspect in this case was arguing with minutes before the shooting. the 19-year-old victim remains here at temple hospital in critical condition as police continue the hunt for his shooter. the video shows a man walking into church's chicken at broad and erie before 5:30 sunday night. he goes to the back of the restaurant, places bags on a table and orders food. what you don't see is a verbal argument between the man and a worker spraying tables to clean them. police say the man leaves, returns minutes later and shoots another worker. 19-year-old meyers who happens to be the brother of the man police say the suspect had argued with. >> when he left the worker he was arguing with took his shirt off. shortly after his brother came over to him when he sees the male shooter come back in to try to shield him away from him. it's possible, we don't know for certain but it's possible that the

deanna durante live on the scene. what can you tell us?gators are taking a look at similar robbery in the area at a barber shop a couple week ago. the scene just cleared. we are told four men, came in while customers were inside, razor cuts here on m street in philadelphia. about 2:30 this afternoon, they robbed people who worked here, robbed the customers before they left they told everybody to get into the bathroom before they made their escape. now police tonight tell us they have a vague description of the men. they possibly could be hispanic, have some accent that they are speaking with but all dressed in black. faces covered and wearing gloves. again, this isn't the first robbery like this in this area. targeting a barber shop. investigators are looking at both cases trying to figure out who is responsible. good news here, no one injured, despite the fact four armed men came in, no shots fired, no one hurt. deanna durante nbc 10 news. >>> to this, family torn apart by tragedy as a delaware woman deals with pain of planning a funeral

nbc 10's deanna durante is live outside of septa headquarters in center city. walk us through this new video. >> reporter: it's a case where the chief of police for septa says officers did everything right including evacuating a crowded bus, one packed with commuters heading to work. the wanted man is a suspect in an attempted murder last sunday at a church's chicken on north broad street. they didn't know if the man would be armed aboard the bus. body camera video shows the officer telling passengers off the bus. no one questioned him. security cameras from the bus and the body camera images show arlin and another officer approach the man and once surrounded they wake him up. inform him he is on camera and ask his name. you hear the man give a fake name and police continue to question him. they pat him down, search and bring him outside where other officers are waiting to identify him. >> what happens in a critical moment, officer makes a decision, he is approaching an attempt murder suspect who may very well be armed and may well be willing to shoot it out an

deanna durante has the latest from rittenhouse square. >> reporter: 24-year-old collin has photos with his friends and family on facebook. the school district confirms he graduated from council rock south high school in 2009. police say mcgovern and his friends had been out drirnging in center city saturday night. >> what you have is the decedent was with his buddies and two girlfriends, female friends, had just gotten out of a cab, bar hopping and they were looking for a hotel to stay over. >> reporter: security cameras picked up the altercation showing the group getting out of the cab and the suspect walking past him. when something was said and the suspect returned to where the group was standing. >> there was a verbal altercation which quickly turned into a physical confrontation. during the confrontation collin was stabbed to death. >> reporter: it start owed ver siminger's cap. they say mcgovern poked fun at the fan. it got nasty and then physical. >> the decedent is actually on top of the suspect. and he stabs him a couple times from underneath him. >> siminger according to poli

deanna durante was at the courtroom in bucks county today. what did you learn? >> reporter: we're hear for a preliminary hearing, one where the defense thought they would get a look at lab tests that prosecutors had done on the evidence they took from the doctor's home. instead prosecutors said the lab work wasn't finished so the hearing was continued. the pediatrician's lawyer is saying no one can prove what was inside that house. >> i wanted to see if there was anything you wanted to say. >> talk to the attorney. >> we did. but first we wanted to stop by the bucks county home owned by dr. jan widerman and his wife. the garage remains boarded up after a february car fire that brought police and firefighters inside the home. and that's how police say they discovered 40 marijuana plants. all growing inside a locked room in the garage area. police say the rooms were outfitted with special ventilation and grow lights and they found dried marijuana as well as more than $16,000 in cash inside a safe. >> this doctor dedicated his life to the service and healing of oth
