we have the latest from ppl, ac electric and delmarva power. randy gyllenhaal is live in a storm-ravaged neighborhood in bryn mawr where crews are busy today. randy? >> reporter: yeah. and good news is the cavalry has arrived. these trucks behind me are from wisconsin and illinois. peco is bringing in reinforcements. this is old golf road in bryn mawr. you can see the situation. a tree down no the front. we go further and you see that transformer and power line that was cracked in half by the wind. that fell down, knocking out power to the entire neighborhood. if you go all the way to the back, you see that white van there. we're told by neighbors, that van was driving down this street during the height of the storm. neighbors heard a sudden gust of wind, it was real loud and then the crash of the tree came down exactly on top of that van. take a listen. >> i poked my head out and asked people if they needed help. a gentleman came in, he had blood on his face. disoriented, understandably. it turns out this was his car. he was in it. he managed

the number of outages are manage lower for delmarva, atlantic city electric and pse&g. >> it is a mix of conditions across pennsylvania, let's check in now on chester county our greg argos is live along east gay street in west chester what he's seeing right now. greg, good afternoon. >> reporter: rahel, jim g afternoon. yeah we must see be one of these bands in the past 20 or 30 minutes the snow is starting to come down. we're actually on east market street right here behind me. you can see this is sort of the scene. the sides of the roads they're slushy little bit dangerous but the main roadways at least right now they're passible. we've seen some crews go by with plows and shovels but everyone really navigating the roadways pretty well. this is a very wet, very heavy snow. you can see accumulating here we're talking maybe about 4-inches or so on the ground right now. like i mentioned it is very damp very heavy and that is the concern you just heard from joe holden there in havertown about downed power lines it's really sticking to the power lines and as the weight accumulates n coul

here it is to the south of delmarva. you can see heavy rain along the shore.intry mix and heavy snow and it's going to impact all of us. pennsylvania, new jersey, delaware, new york, even into new england it's a major storm for all of us. we're talking about significant snow. when we look at the amount of snow i tweak this a little bit it looks like main the rain now with some real warm air making it down the shore. even can cutting into interior south jersey keeping those accumulations down in places like atlantic county even parts of cumberland county into southern burlington county and kent county delaware. about three to 6-inches of snow possible as you move toward philadelphia from the suburbs of jersey and then six to 12 to the north and west. seeing some of those higher accumulations in the hilly terrain. in our north and western suburbs bucks county, lots of hilly terrain even lehigh valley and of course into the poconos. so it is going to be a very heavy wet snow and the peak of the the storm will be wednesday afternoon into the early eveni evening. f
