now look at the democratic side. it's more of a smorgasbord of topics democratic voters are look to go hear from congressional candidates on. yes, economy and inflation still up on top, 32%. gun policy, 23%. voting and elections, 15%. abortion down at 10%. so this is still an electorate that is looking to hear about the economy but overwhelmingly for republicans more of a mix for democrats. and the other thing we look for is who has the edge on enthusiasm, because it's one thing to look at registered voters. it's another thing who is going to show up. and one of the ways we explore that who is more enthusiastic about voting. look at these numbers here. the republicans have a seven-point advantage over the democrats in terms of being extremely enthusiastic to vote. 35% of republicans say so. 28% of democrats. you see that has been an advantage in all of the polling this year for republicans and you see how it ticks up as the year goes on. more and more people are getting enthusiastic about voting but, again, this is a

democratic base is real? >> fundamentally, i push back on that argument by some democratic strategists, which is some version of the republicans won, you lost, it's your fault. it's a blame the victim type of strategy here that i think is fundamentally wrong. the responsibility for what has happened is purely on the shoulders of republicans who have been fighting to overturn roe v. wade. appointing justices to the supreme court that would overturn roe for decades. the most important thing is to not turn on ourselves here, but to make it clear who is responsible, and who is accountable, and carry that message forward. the question of democratic apathy, i just don't believe it. i think there is some data, all the polling these days, who know what's it adds up to. i think that there is an intensity around this issue that we have to capture. you covered the senate, and you covered congress extremely well, and you know that with the 50/50 senate, we don't actually fully control the senate. that's why we have to ge
