adam: dennis kneale has the final numbers for this quarter. nnis: meeting expectations at $0.86 per share, missing a little bit on revenue, while strickland 27.29 billion, it comes in at 27.23 billion. $60 million miss. this is a company under scrutiny, a company in trouble even that number you are talking more than an 8% decline in revenues that a tech company supposed to be growing, not shrinking. hp has gotten the market moving past servers and laptops and regular computers into smartphones and tablets and hp has gotten crushed by that shift away from it so this could mean the enterprise business that is the mainstay, big corporate accounts simply isn't yet robust. adam: revenue numbers lower than a year ago, exactly what you are saying, 6.79 billion versus 7.5 billion a year ago, so a slowdown in enterprise which is sort of what they were hoping would be a big breakthrough for them. >> looking for corporate customers to take the ball and start running with it because consumers led the way for the past five years or so, now consumers have sl

let's go right to dennis kneale with the details. what's going on?an hour or two ago time warner cable through down the gauntlet and said kickback on air and sell your channel individually to our subscribers. we will collect the fee and pass it on, but stop fighting. that would up and the entire tv business because channels don't want to have to sell individually. they want to sell to the cable operator. cbs put out the statement, today's so-called proposal from time warner cable is a sham, a public relations vehicle designed to distract from the fact that time warner cable is not negotiating in good faith. anyone familiar with the entertainment business knows that the economics and structure of the cable industry don't work that way, and it will for some time. in short an empty gesture from a company that is expert at the specific response from the ceo. the ceo of time warner cable is being drafted now. cbs needed to get that out to the press shooting down this bold proposal which time warner cable probably new cbs wish you right out of the sky. mel

david: we are going right to dennis kneale who gives us green mountain reports, another company reporting earnings today. what's the news, dennis. >> good news bad news on green mountain. beat on earnings per share. they come in at 82 cents instead of 77 cents wall street was looking for. top-line growth is an earnings miss. it misses wall street estimates. wall street wanted $981.1 million in revenue. it got only $967.2 million. that's growth of only 12% or so for a pretty high-flyer. david: the interesting thing though, coffee prices come down. that is clearly why they're getting earnings they're getting on the bottom line but the top line is bothersome, dennis. a lot of people going to their competitors i guess? >> earnings per share last year were 52 cents. really nice when you bring in earnings per share 82 cents versus year ago quarter. that is better than 50% growth in eps. liz: let's bring in todd horowitz. i'm looking for some of these hits. as we look at wires all of the news here, a beat on the bottom line. a miss slightly, not slightly. enough on the top. look at the stock, to
