that's because the dewpoints are extremely low.hey're below 10 degrees and they're in the single digits so we have that bone dry arctic air but because of that arctic air and high pressure building in, we will see the return of a good amount of sunshine tomorrow. it will be nice because satellite6 and action radar showing lots of clouds out there. if you look very closely almost looks like some flurries are moving in but with that really dry air in place, that moisture is that not getting to the ground. it's evaporating but on the flip side, as we fly out across the pacific northwest, you can see another very strong low pressure that's moving in there bringing some heavy rain and some mountain snow and this really has been the pattern all winter long. we have a big dip in the jet stream out to the west and that means the sierra snow pack, the highest it's been since 1995. it's measured 173 percent of normal and this is great because the extreme drought across the entire state, they've been in an entire drought it's dropped from 64
