chu is taking a look at restaurant names with dominoes down sharply after reporting earnings dom?staurant companies are getting a lot of attention in trading today thanks in large parts from companies like cheesecake factory, jack in the box, dine brands which owns applebee's and ihope as well as domino's pizza. those stocks are on the move while many of these stocks do make up smaller positions and portions of many small and mid-cap atf's, they do call some more attention to what's happening with larger restaurant cops that are part of more larger liquidated funds. for example, you've got consumer discretionary-oriented funds like the spdr etf ticker xly and the vanguard consumer discretionary ticker vcr both of these etfs have larger cap restaurant stocks like a mcdonald's say or a starbucks, but there are also much smaller etfs that also have more exposure to she is smaller and mid-cap restaurant stocks like the ones we've mentioned you've got the invesco dynamic leisure and dynamic fund the ticker is pej. a huge word of caution here. this fund is only $39 million in size so mu

in the meantime, let's get to dom chu who has the other morning movers in the marketplace. dom chu?re having about earnings right now because we decided to take a look and see where we stand with regard to how the earnings season is shaping up what we have in essence is about 18 companies in the s&p 500 reporting pru ining results tod. the results have been generally positive we've had about 71% of companies come out and beat their earnings estimates and 62% have beaten their revenue estimates as well so this has been pretty good on average over the longer term, earnings beats typically around the 64% mark in the revenue side so that have's something to keep an eye on. we have, again, a move here, a blended earnings growth, if every company reports as expected it's still going to be about 17%. this is q4 we have about 6% revenue growth if that remaining quarter of s&p 500 companies reports as expected now among the quarter of companies that have yet to report that we will be looking very closely at, we've got names like walmart, also craft hynes, home depot, discovery, lowe's. all o

it is valentine's day and love is in the air as wall street analysts are crushing on some big stocks dom chu joins us from the newsroom to explain. >> that's right, melissa, love is in the air and analysts love these stocks in the dow jones industrial average maybe love isn't the right word for it i'm not sure what is here's what we've got. these dow stocks have some of the highest upside potential if analysts who cover them have their story right and shares reach those target prices. for example, if shares of chemical company dow dupont hit its analyst target price, those shares could mean 26% upside from current prices or investment banking giant goldman sachs has a target price around 18% higher than shares are currently trading. tech giant microsoft also in that same upside ballpark with an implied upside of 18% health insurer united health group has a target that's 16% higher than now. an then there's integrated oil and gas giant chevron which would rise my 14% if analysts get their target in the coming months some of these names have higher potential upside because they have underp
