we'll go ahead and show you doppler radar.s picture may be not so promising only because we are watching some rain. a low pressure system that is developing in the central part of the country. some strong cells embedded in this system. it's got plenty of road to travel and to pick up some steam as it does develop and move in our direction. so keeping a close eye on this system. we can see that it's really sort of just shaping up and coming together as a low pressure system and a warm front that will be moving our direction over the next 12 to 24 hours. it's a 50-50 sort of weekend. as we look at our weather story for today and tomorrow. the potential is there for scattered late-day showers today. and then tomorrow we're calling a first alert simply because we do have the potential for some severe storms later on in the day tomorrow. okay? so you want to pay attention to the forecast, especially for tomorrow afternoon. we can see that we're looking in this area here for the highest threat for the severe storms tomorrow. so if y
