but the other witnesses there and the friend of michael brown's, dorian johnson has said repeatedly thatggressor was officer wilson who rammed his door into them, who opened the door and hit them and then they turned around and reacted. so there's a lot of discrepancy between what we're hearing from those who are close to michael brown and from the police. but certainly this has heightened things here in ferguson. people very worried about what is going to happen. both people hoping there's going to be indictment and others hoping there is not going to be an indictment. certainly it's brought out more crowds in the evening when the protests tend to get bigger, michaela. >> sara, help me understand the forensic evidence and why it would help one side or another? >> well, look, if the forensic evidence -- forensic evidence tends not to lie, right? witness testimony tends to be all over the place. a lot of times with witness testimony there are differences in what people saw, there are differences in what people say. so the forensic evidence is going to be very key to this case. john? >> al

dorian johnson. and this is the part of the story that's most helpful to darren wilson.the part that is the most important part of the story that nobody's been leaking anything about, is the part where he shot and killed an unarmed, wounded kid, who was fleeing away from him. that's the part they haven't explained. you have to wonder in the grand jury room when he testifies, was he really cross-examined by the prosecutor or was he allowed to give a story and sit back and the grand jury could take it as they liked. we are only hearing about information -- i'll give you another one. we're now hearing that supposedly there are six african american witnesses who corroborate officer wilson's account, but we don't know anything more than that. corroborate what part of the account? the account that there was a scuffle at the car, which we know, and everybody agrees with. or the part that he was shot with his hands up? >> but again, maybe one way someone on the other side could spin that officer wilson is corroborating johnson's report of a scuffle. but isn't this the reason, wh

dorians a modern hiss who -- a modern historian who is an expert on the french navy in the american revolution and said the same thing, the americans wasted a lot of money trying to build these ships because he did not do them any good. the people at heritage command wrote back and say, that is not true. british prey on commerce and create issues in european waters. -- youd bring about could argue that some of the incidents in europe helped bring the french and spanish into the war. so they did play a role. but yes, you are right. the early american navy was a lot of merchant ships that had into navalormed ships. and then we started building forgets -- frigates. some of those frigates were the ones that were captured. two of them were -- had been built up the delaware river. the british led a raid up the delaware and they got those ships. they should have been sunk -- that is what washington said -- i mean, sent underwater so they could not get at them. the virginia, a brand-new american frigate, was sailing out to the chesapeake bay, lost its way, broke its rudder, and the british captured it

because remember from day one his friend dorian said that the police officer tried to pull him into the and that he struggled to get away and there was a shot fired and they took off running so this is very consistent with what his friends said from the very beginning. and what we are saying it doesn't matter. >> all right. and i understand that you're going -- that that friend has to be taken -- his testimony has to be looked at. very rare that a police officer tries to pull somebody through the window of a car but be that it may. >> rare somebody tries to enter into a police car, too. >> if is he trying and i don't want to try the case on tv. i just want to make this statement. if mr. brown is drying to get into the car that's that's a what different story than a police officer pulling him into the car. what do you think when you hear al sharpton and i know you have associated yourself with him and i was surprised to see that by the way, convicting the police officer in the media. that doesn't seem to be fair to me i think reverend al as well as many of his supporters are saying that

car or exacerbate the seriousness of it, but it also backs up officer wilson's story and refutes dorianeginning, i think dorian johnson's story from the beginning, very different from officer wilson, over time has been chipped away by the actual forensics, the physical evidence, the circumstantial evidence. the more we see that circumstantial evidence refute or align with a particular witnesses' version of the story, including officer wilson's, the farther we're getting away from officer wilson being indicted. >> nick, let's talk about that. the details in this are very different, obviously, from what witnesses say that they saw happen on that day. have you heard of any witnesses coming out saying that they saw a struggle in the car? or are all of these witnesses people who perhaps, if there was such a struggle, missed that part of it and just saw the aftermath? >> well, we heard a lot of conversations while we were there. some people saying that they saw that struggle. other people saying that that never happened, that darren wilson was the aggressor. principally saying that darren wil

that is different than what dorian johnson says which is that he pulls up real close, so close that itm both and when michael brown backs away, the officers reaches out and grabs him and they start to scuffle. meaningful difference. >> very meaningful difference. mr. johnson basically said the door ricochetted closed when it hit me. i don't know that car doors ricochet off human bodies closed. i think that will be a point to be made by the officers' lawyers. so the officer is claiming they pushed him back into the cruiser. because i think he'll be claiming at trial, if there is a trial. that they knew he was on to them and that they were robbery suspects. so now they're desperate and they're trying to get away. next of course, struggle ensues. >> now let's talk about the struggle. you've seen so many of these. the officer says, i've always said the key here is who took the gun out of the holster. we did some research into the holster. very tough to take it out, given the configuration, which is a great thing for officer safety. we know darren wilson says, i took out my weapon. why? wel
